Israel's controversial plans of settlement expansion dominates the Israeli media today.
On yesterdays Harvest Show I spoke about the 3,000 units near Maaleh Adumim east of Jerusalem and the additional 1,700 units in Ramat Shlomo to the north of the city.
It has come to light that there are also hundreds more of additional units to be built in the West Bank.
European countries have reacted strongly with Israeli ambassadors to Britain, France, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands and Denmark all being called in for clarifications and reprimands.
Even America has joined in with a sharp condemnation. Even the Jewish Mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emmanuel, said Netanyahu has repeatedly betrayed US President Barak Obama.
Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu has rejected the condemnations and his office has remained defiant saying Israel will not give in and will even take additional measures against the Palestinians.
This all comes in response to the United Nations upgrade to Non-Member Status for the Palestinians based on the 1967 lines.
Mr. Netanyahu, in all this, is securing more power for his upcoming election in January – as his actions ring well with the Right Wing in Israel.
