All day over here in the Middle East people have been paying attention to the super Storm Sandy.
Sadly the damage is mounting – hopefully there will be no more deaths.
I understand it could be up to four days till New York City's transit gets back in action.
Many of the roads up and down the Northern East Coast's sea front are damaged and will impede peoples return home and emergency workers ability to set things straight.
All this points to one of LeSEA Broadcasting's strengths – the ability to intercede and an opportunity for action!
We are not just a talk show and television channel… we are a community of believers who cares.
We aren't broadcasting only for the Holy Spirit to feed the soul, but also for helping hands to feed the hurting body.
Feed the Hungry will be kicking into action to deliver aid to folks affected by Sandy.
You see, when we talk about helping people during our broadcasts – that's because we seek to be prepared and effective when needed. Help isn't going to get somewhere quick enough if we wait till after a disaster strikes to make folks aware of what they can do in Christian love – this is why we draw your attention to this wonderful outreach of LeSEA, for the Christian care you can give in one's hour of need.
Being a part of LeSEA also means that we pray – we love to pray – this is why Dr. Sumrall set up the Prayerline staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
If you want to pray with someone we are here, if you know folks effected by Sandy – we want to pray along with you! Just call us.
We can not fix New York City… but friends, with your shared love and this organization God has raised up – we can meet the needs of those who hurt – just as Jesus did in this land where I write you from now.
Whether it is intercession or aid – we at LeSEA are here – and we care!
Thank you for watching the Harvest show – and thank you for taking a moment to consider those in need this day.
